Artworkshop for children

PAINTING AND VISUAL ARTS ACTIVITIES

At the “Kostis Palamas” Center for Culture and Olympism, a Creative Art Workshop operates as an open space for the expression and imagination of our young friends. Within the framework of artistic engagement and creativity, Painting and other Visual Arts Programs have been developed for elementary and middle school children.

Specifically, the Painting Program focuses on students’ artistic expression and creation using various materials (colored pencils, markers, oil pastels, tempera paints). Through a variety of Visual Arts Activities (art games, group collages, small-scale crafts, video presentations), children cultivate artistic creativity and perception while fostering teamwork and a spirit of solidarity.

The groups are small (4–5 children) and are organized according to age, to ensure smooth and enjoyable interaction and collaboration among the students. All classes take place in a specially designed space where materials for the children’s creations are provided. Each session lasts two hours. The weekly schedule is arranged for once or twice a week, based on mutual agreement.
