Psychological-Athletic Test for Sports Selection for Children and Young People
“Discover the Sport You Love and Suits You”

The internationally recognized test of Sports Psychology titled “Discover the sport you love and suits you – for children and young people” is a pioneering psychological-sports test based on principles of sports psychology and activity preferences. It helps children and young people discover the sport they love and that fits their personality and abilities.

THE SPORT SELECTION TEST INCLUDES:

• A bilingual (Greek-English) full-color Activity Album with photos of all Olympic sports.

• An Instruction Booklet for each scientific supervisor administering and evaluating the test (psychologist/physical education teacher/educator/social worker-pedagogue) and any organization working with children.

• A Sport Selection Card to be completed by the child, with the help of the examiner, indicating their most favorite sports.

• A Scoring Card for the most preferred sports, to be filled out by the scientific supervisor, ranking the child’s preferences in order.

• An official Certificate indicating whether the child is more suited to team or individual sports, along with an analysis of the benefits the child will gain from the chosen category.

OPTIONAL SERVICES

The Kostis Palamas Center for Culture and Olympism provides experienced scientific collaborators for clarifications, explanations, and administration of the test, as well as any other support related to the test process.

SCIENTIFIC COLLABORATORS AND THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE TEST’S IMPLEMENTATION

• Niki Bouzouka – Child Psychologist – Parent and Child Counseling. Extensive experience with certifications and qualifications in conducting psychological tests.

• Sofia Mallia – Professor of Physical Education and Sports Science. Certified in Sports Psychology and Counseling through numerous conferences, seminars, and workshops.

1. SEMINARS
(Clarifications – Explanations – Preliminary Information) for each scientific supervisor who will administer the test to children.
Duration: Up to 2 hours
Cost: €180 (regardless of the number of participants)

2. TEST ADMINISTRATION
Sport Preference Scoring – Test Result Issuance
Duration: 2 to 3 hours
Cost: €50 per examinee
